Career information
In New Zealand to be able to teach you need to hold a teaching degree. This will enable you to apply for teaching registration through the Teaching Council. It is unlikely an early childhood centre will employ you without a teaching degree and a primary or high school will definately not.
A Montessori diploma will not give you teacher registration in New Zealand regardless of the Montessori training you have received.
