Pay Equity Setback: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Sector Leaders Respond to Government Stealth Move

Since November 2020, when the Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA) and the New Zealand Educational Institute (NZEI) first addressed issues within the education sector, Cathy Wilson, Chief Executive (CE) of Montessori Aotearoa New Zealand, has been actively involved in this work. It is disheartening to see these efforts dismissed so abruptly by a single decision.
