Due to roll growth we are looking for a qualified and registered ECE teacher to join our under 2’s team. As well as being qualified and registered, if you have an interest in Montessori or you are an experienced Montessori teacher, we would love to hear from you!
Our small group sizes, open plan & peaceful Montessori environment supports children to develop at their own pace and stage of development. We believe that by building warm, caring, trusting and respectful relationships with children & their families, as well as with each other and the wider community, we can all work collaboratively towards providing the best possible learning outcomes for each child.
Our operating hours are 8.30am-3.30pm, however the position is Monday – Friday 8am-4pm, as staff arrive 30 minutes before children arrive and stay on 30 minutes after children leave.
What we’re looking for in you:
- Qualified & registered ECE teacher
- Montessori certification & previous experience teaching in a Montessori setting, although not essential, but must be willing to learn
- Passion & enthusiasm for working with young children & commitment to providing high quality care & education.
- Strong communication skills & ability to work well in a team
- You foster respect for each child’s individuality & unique abilities
- You ensure the safety & well-being of each child
- Be a team player who can contribute to program planning, assessments & reviews.
- Have a growth mindset to further develop knowledge & skills required for any updates on curriculum design or current early childhood support documents.
