About the Role: As a Montessori teacher, you will be providing one-on-one instruction to a primary school-aged child in a Montessori setting. Your role will focus on nurturing the child’s academic, emotional, and social growth, following the Montessori principles of self-directed learning. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on a child’s educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one Montessori-based lessons tailored to the child’s needs and interests.
- Foster independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Create a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor and track the child’s progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Develop a personalised learning plan in line with Montessori philosophy.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent support and development.
About You:
- A recognized Montessori qualification.
- Proven experience working with primary school-aged children.
- Strong understanding of Montessori principles and their application.
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable in your teaching approach.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
- Ability to create a calm and structured learning environment.
