About Us:
We are a privately owned, licensed to cater for 45 children daily. We are seeking a dedicated Montessori 3-6 teacher to join our team part-time, with potential for full-time. We offer competitive pay, 8 weeks holiday per year, and the opportunity to work in a supportive, child-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work with children aged 3-6 years, applying Montessori principles
– Plan and deliver individualised learning experiences
– Collaborate with colleagues and families
– Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education guidelines
Qualifications:
– Hold current provisional or full teacher registration, or be a student due to gain
registration next year
– Strong understanding of Te Whāriki and early childhood education principles
While a Montessori qualification is preferred, we are happy to support training
for the right candidate.
Employment Type: Part-time (Minimum of 3 days per week, with potential to increase to full-
time).
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (Extended Pay Parity).
