Are you a dedicated, passionate Montessori Early Childhood teacher looking to join a warm, supportive team? We are seeking a committed educator to join our small, caring team of four teachers. Licensed for just 28 children per day, our preschool offers a homely, family-oriented environment for tamariki aged 2 to 6 years.
For more than 15 years, Koru Montessori Preschool has been part of Auckland’s Montessori community. Our philosophy centres on creating a place where learning is joyful, independence is nurtured, and every child feels welcomed, respected, and valued as part of a community of learners.
At Koru, children are supported to
- build positive relationships
- feel proud of who they are and where they come from
- take ownership of their choices
- develop lifelong curiosity and a love of learning
We are looking for someone with
- A recognised Montessori qualification
- A New Zealand ECE teaching qualification
- NZ full or provisional teacher registration (mentoring provided through to full registration)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- A warm, collaborative teaching style and genuine passion for Montessori education
Both part-time and full-time applicants will be considered. We offer generous non-contact time to allow for meaningful planning, documentation, and reflection.
