Early Childhood Teacher

  • Employer: Māori Hill Montessori
  • Location: Dunedin
  • Work type: Permanent

Māori Hill Montessori is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ECE teacher to join our small, experienced team.

We are a well-established Montessori preschool for children aged 2½–6 years. Our curriculum is guided by Montessori principles and Te Whāriki, supporting the holistic development of tamariki within a calm, respectful, and inclusive environment. As a small centre, we value strong relationships and a collaborative approach. Our experienced teachers work together to create a rich learning environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging and are supported to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. We enjoy high teacher-to-child ratios, small group sizes, and a beautiful setting that provides opportunities for meaningful connections with children and whānau.

The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. They will be committed to providing a safe, engaging, and respectful environment where every child can thrive.
