PLD 0-18 Years: Getting Started on the Professional Growth Cycle

Many of you have asked for support with the Professional Growth Cycle. MANZ is delighted to announce an online Zoom workshop on this with a member of the Teaching Council’s Teacher Capability and Collaboration team.

If you have read the Elements that underpin the design of a professional growth cycle but are not sure how to get it started, or how to move it on past the early stages, join us for an interactive webinar.

In this session the Elements will be explained and discussed with you with options for starting the design and beginning the implementation to make your growth cycle worthwhile for all.

This workshop is suitable for 0-18 year kaiako.

Facilitator

Chris Thornley is a Lead Advisor, Teacher Capability and Collaboration at the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. She leads the Council’s Code and Standards engagement with teachers across early childhood education and schooling sectors.

Before taking up her role at the Council, Chris was a primary teacher in English medium schools and later involved in research and professional learning and development projects.
