Position Sought in New Zealand

American Montessori Society (AMS) credentialed Montessorian (0-3) w/ 20 years guiding a classroom,  seeks position in New Zealand.

I have a wide variety of experince, including , creation of new programmes, curriculum consultation and workshop presentions @ AMS national conventions. Currently working toward M.Ed in Montessori studies, which includes 3-6 certification. The coursework ends in August. I enjoy every step on the path that this work has taken me, and have such great enthusiasm for it.

Living in NZ has always been a dream of mine. I believe now is the time to continue the adventure of finding a new professional and personal community to call home.

 Position Sought in New Zealand

I am looking for a Montessori teaching position, teaching children ages 2 1/2- 6 years. I would prefer a well established school that could guarantee a permanent teaching position, with health insurance and with longevity. 
 
I am British and I took my training and graduated from Montessori Centre International in London. I have been certified for 17 years now and have been living in Dallas, Texas, with my husband and child for the last 10 years. Accustomed to being a lead teacher/co-worker, I have many years of experience in guiding and maintaining a pre-school class.
 
Responsibilities such as parent teacher conferences, open  houses, parent education evenings, material demonstrations etc are events I am comfortable with. Working for two large Dallas schools, with around 250 pupils, I am used to multi-tasking and turning my hand at new things. At a previous school I ran a Parent Night Out club and a tutoring service, as well as opening/closing the school. At my current school I am a member of the committee for the Natural Playground that we are establishing.

During my recent teaching years, I have supervised interns and helped train staff members and would like to venture more in to teaching training in the future.
