An exciting fixed term opportunity in New Plymouth. We are looking for an experienced Montessori trained teacher to head one of our four fully-equipped 3-6 classes. 

The successful applicant would ideally have an education which would entitle him/her to gain New Zealand teacher registration however this is not essential. 

Our Casa is on a purpose-built facility on 1.2 hectares of land and has been in operation for over 30 years.  Each classroom has approximately 25 children and three teachers,  with at least the head teacher having a Montessori qualification.

In addition, we have two outdoor teachers and a resource assistant.

The position is available from April 2012 until the end of the year.  This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a strong and supportive Montessori community with a commitment to implementing high quality Montessori practices.

Due to the ongoing growth within our Montessori unit at Matakana Primary School we are looking for an a Montessori 6-12 elementary teacher, to work with our Bergamo AMI trained head teacher.  This position would be on a fixed term contract, beginning February 2012, with the possibility to extend. 

You will have
- Relevant AMI or like training. 
- Practical Montessori teaching experience. 
- NZ teacher registration, or qualifications to meet eligibility for NZ teacher registration.
